We've designed Firefly to automate the traditional ETL process, saving up to 80% on the development time.
This is where we store active data that have relationships. Over time, this database gets smarter and will automatically recognise new relationships. This powers deeper insights and makes reporting faster and easier for non-technical folk.
Companies generate a lot of passive data that isn't used on a daily basis - files, notes, media and logs. To optimise our data platform, we store this separately in a robust and auditable content store.
Actually Firefly can be both. Using smart data solutions and data recipes Firefly can store data and documents, structured or non-structured to create a Data Lake. For those who require a more prescribed traditional Data Warehouse Firefly can easily and quickly build and maintain it.
Yes. Firefly will build a solution that allows you to access data in any way you like. You can, of course, use Firefly to access your data, and it may be all you need. But we appreciate that there may be a period of transition, or lots of users that are familiar with your existing tools... you can replace or supplement your existing reporting solutions. We encourage our users to use Firefly as much as possible, and keep all the answers in one place, but we recognise business needs may not always support this.
There is no limit on the number of data sources we can pull into Firefly, subject only to licensing or subscriptions purchased.
